The t-shirt contest team reserves the right to make adjustments and alterations to the winning entry to ensure that the reproduction of the image is of best quality. The winning artist releases to CultureWorks the exclusive right to artwork to be used for  promotional material. The winner(s) will be rewarded with a t-shirt featuring his/her design.

T-Shirt Design contest

CultureWorks will accept submissions from March 11-April 8 and the winning design will be printed and marketed in downtown Holland.  All proceeds from sales will benefit future CultureWorks programming.

Details:

  1. Single color designs only (and please let us know if you have a preferred color for t-shirt fabric/background).

  2. Final design should be in black ink; make note of what color you'd like it to be printed in, if different than black.

  3. Printing will be on front of t-shirt only.

  4. If submitting hand-drawn work, please submit no larger than 8.5 x 11 inch format.

  5. Mail or drop off original artwork to CultureWorks 31 E 8th St. Suite 200, Holland, MI  49423.

  6. If you would like your original submission back, please pick it up at the CultureWorks desk during office hours after April 30, at 31 E 8th St, 2nd floor.

  7. Digitally drawn artwork can be e-mailed to emily@thecultureworks.org.

  8. Submissions must be received by April 8.

  9. Winner will receive fame and a free t-shirt.  Top 5 finalists will be chosen by a panel of judges, and a student panel will vote on their favorite.

  10. Artwork should not contain CultureWorks name or logo; just draw what you love.  You may include text.

  11. Anyone in 6th - 12th grades may enter, and you may submit multiple entries.
